Rockapella Celebrates 'Carmen Sandiego's' 30th Anniversary (VIDEOS)

Long-lasting a capella group Rockapella, famous for singing the theme song "Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego?," celebrated the 30th anniversary of the kids show with Mashable.

The PBS kids show, "Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego?" was based on the Broderbund game and aired from 1991-1995, reported Entertainment Weekly.

The educational-board-game-turned-TV show taught children about geography and history through fun missions chasing criminals led by Carmen Sandiego all over the world.

Millennials remember the catchy theme song sung by Rockapella. Watch the group sing the theme song below:

"The inspiration was a Jane's Addiction song called 'Caught Stealing,'" Sean Altman, co-founder of Rockapella, told Mashable. "That was really hip at the time, and we tried to be hip with that group. It came out sounding very doo-wop."

Rockapella still performs and tours. Coming up in December and January the a capella group will perform in Texas, Pennsylvania, and New York, among other states.
