Apple is coming out with a new and improved revamp of the Apple TV nearly a month after the product was unveiled at an iPhone event in San Francisco.
On the company's website, the new Apple TV set-top box is now available for preorder, according to TIME. It's currently priced at $149 for the version holding 32GB of space, while the 64GB version is priced at $199.
Customers can expect the new product to be ready for shipment by the end of the week, according to Verge.
Described as "the golden age of television" by Apple CEO Tim Cook, the new product offers a remastered app store, a redesigned remote control, Bluetooth capabilities and Siri, according to Verge.
Even more impressive is the inclusion of a tool that allows users to search through Netflix, Hulu and HBO all in one place, according to USA Today.
"Our vision for TV is simple and perhaps a little provocative. We believe the future of television is apps," said Cook, according to Verge.
And considering the increase in competition from devices by Roku, Gooogle and Amazon, the new Apple TV couldn't have come at a better time.
