"Fallout 4" is set to be released on Nov. 4, and for those fans hungry for more information, here are some new tidbits, including sneak peeks and fresh clues that could hopefully allay some of the stress of having to wait for the big day.
First, gamers would be pleased to know that a new feature is being introduced: crafting. Bethesda revealed that structures, weapons and armors can now be crafted, according to the Independent. The buildings also need electricity, and power generators. The following video gives an idea about this exciting new system, which also includes information on modding and customization.
Another change to the post apocalyptic game is the new option to play as a woman and/or play with a dog as a companion. These are included in the more in-depth character creation concept, which is part of the overall effort to provide a better narrative. Indeed, when they play the game for the first time, fans will find that there are also more substantial in-game dialogues.
Aside from trailers, sneek peeks and promotional posters, Bethesda has also released a 382-page, limited edition, printed art book. It includes 16 pages of in-game artwork and texts, which provided insights as to the look and feel of "Fallout 4." For example, some images drop clues about weapon crafting as well as the retro-future design, according to Polygon. The latter also include the "Fallout 4's" Pipboy, which HNGN previously reported.
"Fallout 4" will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game runs at 1080p and 30 frames per second for the first two platforms, while the resolution and frame rate for PC are not restricted.
