Uber Delivers Kittens For Cuddles On National Cat Day

Uber kittens are back for on-demand delivery today, according to CNBC. For the second year in a row, the ride-sharing company is delivering kittens to your office between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. When you open the app on your smartphone, you should see the "KITTENS" option to request the cats, reported Yahoo! Finance.

Once the kittens arrive you can enjoy 15 minutes of purrrfect playtime, according to the company. In most cities, the delivered kittens are eligible for adoption.

What better way to celebrate National Cat Day than snuggling with some Uber-delivered kittens? There is a $30 "snuggle fee" for the best 15 minutes of your day, reported 9News.

"If you’re lucky enough to request kittens to your office, please make sure your boss or building is going to be cool with the meows and that no one in the area is allergic. Also, having a dedicated room for kitten playtime is preferred," said Uber.

Uber predicts office demand will be high for the kittens because they offer paper-shredding skills, paper clip tossing talents and pen pouncing prowess.

App users unable to get a visit from #UberKITTENS can visit the Uber website to see which cat-idates are up for adoption.

"What greater gift than the love of a cat?" Charles Dickens once asked. So brighten up your day and celebrate National Cat Day by cuddling with some Uber kittens.
