The 2015 American Music Awards are already set to be an entertaining night. With Jennifer Lopez hosting and an already awesome lineup of performances, you won't want to miss this star-studded event.
It has just been announced that Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Walk the Moon will be joining Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction Carrie Underwood and the host as performers, according to People. This will be Jonas' third time performing at the show but his first time as a solo artist. He had previously performed in 2007 and 2008 when he was a part of the Jonas Brothers. As for Lovato and Walk the Moon, this will be their first AMA performances.
All of these artists are nominated for awards, but none other than Taylor Swift holds the most nominations. Coming up close behind her six nominations are The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj and Meghan Trainor. "AMAs nominees are based on key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity and touring," according to Billboard. "These measurements are tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound."
The AMAs will air live from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on ABC on Nov. 22. Vote HERE! Voting for Artist of the Year and Collaboration of the Year opens on Nov. 1. For the full list of nominees, click here.
