Miley Cyrus may what to reconsider her attitude about sex after age 40; Suzanne Somers told the world she has sex with her husband at least twice a day.
During her TODAY Show appearance, 20-year-old Cyrus told host Matt Lauer she believes her sexuality will start to fizzle.
"I heard when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, around that time, I heard that's when people don't have sex anymore," Cyrus said.
Somers, 66, said that's not the case for her sex life, which she revealed is very much active.
"A couple times a day," Somers said on Tuesday during an appearance on "The Talk", referring to the amount of times she and her husband are intimate a day.
"He's on hormones and I'm on hormones," Somers said of husband Alan Hamel, 77. "I'm going to be so sorry I said that...What is it about men at four in the morning? There's some level at four in the morning, and then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings."
Somers and Hamel have been married for 36 years.
Miley Cyrus also touched on her public Twitter feud with Irish singer Sinead O'Connor during her TODAY show appearance.
"My thoughts, if you want to know my thoughts, I think she's an incredible artist. I think she's an awesome songwriter and I was really inspired by her for my 'Wrecking Ball' video, which was what started the whole thing. I don't know how someone can start a fight with somebody that's saying, 'Hey I really respect you and I really love what you did.' 'You know what? You suck!' And that was kind of crazy," she explained. "But, like I said, I'm a big fan of hers and so it doesn't really matter... It's all good. You can write as many open letters as you want. That's really what blogging is. I get open letters every day; it's nothing too new for me.
