Former President George W. Bush was asked by a TMZ cameraman what he thought about Kanye West running for president in 2020, according to The Hill.
On Thursday, the 43rd president was exiting a Washington D.C. building when reporters peppered him with questions, The Hill noted. Bush paused for a moment after hearing the question on Kanye West's possible bid for presidency, reported Complex. Then he laughed loudly in front of the cameras.

To give context to George W's reaction, on Sept. 2 2005, Kanye West went on national television during NBCUniversal's "Concert for Hurricane Relief" and said, "George Bush doesn't care about Black people."
President Barack Obama had this response to Kanye West's announcement of his 2020 run for presidency: "Do you really think this country's going to elect a black guy from the south side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the U.S.? That's crazy. Cray. (Obama is from Chicago)"
"You may have heard that Kanye is thinking about running [for] speaker of the house. It couldn't get any stranger. In case Kanye is serious about this whole POTUS thing - or as he calls it, 'Peezy' [West's nickname is Yeezy] - I do have advice for him," Obama continued, according to CNN.
The current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had a positive reaction to the rapper's announcement.
"I hope to run against him someday," Trump said, according to The Washington Post. "He said very nice things about me in the past."
Rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West announced his run for the 2020 presidency at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards in August.
