Rutgers visits Louisville on Thursday for an AAC division battle. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE or watch the ESPN live stream HERE.
Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been one of the bigger storylines in college football. Bridgewater, who's expected to be the first pick of the 2014 NFL draft, has earned a spot in the Heisman conversation while helping the Cardinals to a 5-0 record.
Bridgewater has completed 71.7 percent of his passes for 1,562 yards, 16 touchdowns and only one interception.
The Cardinals are facing what is arguably their toughest challenge of the year in a Rutgers team averaging 40 points per game.
"It's going to be a good test for us," Louisville coach Charlie Strong said on Monday, via ESPN. "If our guys take the time and put in the time and understand just how important this game is, then we'll be able to get on track."
Louisville may have to find a way to win without its leading receiver, DeVante Parker. A right shoulder injury has Parker's status as questionable on Thursday, according to ESPN.
"We have enough receivers, we just don't have the big-play ability like (Parker), where you get in the red zone and the ball is thrown up," Strong said. "But we have enough receivers where we can put guys in place and let 'em (sic) go play. ...
"Other guys have got to step up, that's what happens."
The "other guys" are receiver Damian Copeland, slot receiver Eli Rogers and tight end Gerald Christian, who've combined for eight touchdowns this season.
Rutgers has a 4-1 record this season and a clean sheet in the AAC with one win. Quarterback Gary Nova has led the high-scoring Scarlet Knights offense, completing 58.5 percent of his passes for 1,171 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions.
