According to recent reports, Kate Middleton dropped a huge hint at Grimsby suggesting the sex of her unborn child to be a girl.
Kate Middleton's pregnancy news has been a trending topic from the moment the announcement was made. Everything related to the pregnancy created quite a buzz in the media - beginning with Middleton's morning sickness, to her shopping for maternity clothes and then the first glimpse of her growing baby bump. Now, reports have it that the Duchess of Cambridge may have accidentally revealed the sex of her unborn child.
Middleton was at the Northern fishing post of Grimsby where she met over 2,000 people in an official engagement. At the event, 41-year-old Diana Burton, a woman in the crowd presented the Duchess with a teddy bear and that's when she reportedly let slip the sex of the baby.
According to a report by Yahoo, a 67-year-old woman named Sandra Cook, who was standing near Middleton while the soft toy was presented to her began spreading the news that she heard Middleton say "Thank you, I will take that for my d..." before stopping herself.
Cook said that when she confronted Middleton, the Duchess said they didn't know the sex of the baby. However, when Cook was persistent that Middleton knew the sex and was going to say daughter, Middleton candidly replied "We're not telling."
While Burton says she was too shocked to recall the conversation, Cook says she is pretty sure of what she heard. "I only hope that she doesn't now give birth to a boy or I'm going to look pretty stupid," she said to Daily Mail.
This is not the first time rumors about the unborn child have been floating around. Every since the Royal family made the announcement about the pregnancy, many speculations and rumors have been making the rounds. Some tabloids have even reported that people are building up on the old belief that pregnant women who suffer from morning sickness usually give birth to girls.
