‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 SPOILERS: Jon Snow Leaves Night’s Watch?

Warning: The following contains possible spoilers for HBO's "Game of Thrones."

I know that Jon Snow isn't really dead, you know that Jon Snow isn't really dead, the entire TV-viewing world knows that Jon Snow isn't really dead. Okay, maybe he is dead, but he's not going to stay dead for long. Kit Harington is in season six of "Game of Thrones" so we know Jon Snow will be making a comeback somehow.

But it might not technically be as Jon Snow and it almost certainly won't be as a member of the Night's Watch.

Watchers on the Wall have released a few pictures from the set of "Thrones" and both are very revealing. The first, which you can see by clicking here, shows Harington in battle attire. Except it is definitely not Night's Watch gear. In fact, it looks more like the armor Ned Stark wore back in season one. The patented blacks of a Watchmen, especially a Lord Commander, are nowhere to be seen.

Then, Watchers released another image (click here) that further supports this theory that Jon is no longer with his former crew. The picture an epic battle complete with House Mormont and House Stark riding together. While it's possible that the North could rally behind Sansa Stark, we're betting it is Jon who is the one who unites them.

If Jon is resurrected by Melisandre, as many believe, then his oath to the Night's Watch will have been fulfilled and he would be free to continue on with his life. Plus, he probably wouldn't want to return to a group that brutally betrayed him and stabbed him multiple times.

But perhaps more interesting is who exactly Jon will be when that happens. Many fans assume that the popular theory R+L=J, which suggests that Rhegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark fathered Jon, is accurate. If so, Jon would have a solid claim to both Winterfell and the Iron Throne. Mind = Blown.

In addition, it is widely believed that a flashback scene to The Tower of Joy, an iconic moment in "Thrones" history, will be featured in season six. This sequence could confirm the true parentage of Jon Snow.
