A Ku Klux Klan chapter leader said Monday night that the identities in Anonymous' list of alleged Klan members that was recently released online are fake.
Thomas Robb, the national director of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, said that data may have leaked from other minor KKK chapters, but none of his is included in the list released by the hacking group.
"One computer is right here in my house and it's not connected to the Internet. I'm looking at it right here," he said, according to TIME. "The other computer is at the main office just down the road, and it's the same way: not connected to the Internet."
Robb added that the hackers have to come personally to his home to gain access to the list of Klan members.
"They'd have to come in here and download it directly at the computer on a floppy disk-or, a drive-and it would be absurd for them to say that," he said.
Four separate lists of alleged members of the Ku Klux Klan members were released on Sunday and Monday and include four U.S. senators and five city mayors. Members of Anonymous were criticized for releasing the wrong information. They have denied releasing these names and clarified that they will publish the official list on Nov. 5, according to Take Part.
One of those named was Mayor Madeline Rogero of Knoxville, Tenn., who strongly denies the allegations.

"That list was not released by us. And me and my team do not believe she is a member of the KKK," Anonymous wrote on their Operation KKK Twitter account. "This account has NOT YET released any information. We believe in due diligence and will NOT recklessly involve innocent individuals #OpKKK."
U.S. Sen. Dan Coats' name was also in the list of alleged Klan members, according to the Examiner. Coats denies the accusation.
For those who are asking - I have never had any affiliation with the Ku Klux Klan and deplore all forms of racial discrimination. This is baseless Internet garbage of the worst kind.
