DreamWorks Animation released the latest "Kung Fu Panda 3" trailer Tuesday, in which Po (Jack Black) must transition from student to teacher.
The trailer also shows the reunion of Po with his long lost father (Bryan Cranston), who invites his son to accompany him to a hidden panda village deep in the mountains. However, when a supernatural villain named Kai (J.K. Simmons) starts sweeping across China and destroying the country, Po must do the impossible: teach the other pandas how to fight, according to TheWrap.
The third installment in the "Kung Fu Panda" franchise is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni. The film's script has been written by series writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, according to Coming Soon.
Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, and Lucy Liu are all returning as the voices of Po's friends, and Kate Hudson voices new panda Mei Mei. "Kung Fu Panda 3" is slated to hit theaters on Jan. 29, 2016, Entertainment Weekly reported.
