The Missouri Tigers (MIZZ) play the Georgia Bulldogs (UGA) on Saturday in an SEC matchup. Kickoff is at 12 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.
No. 7 Georgia (4-1, 3-0 SEC) hosts No. 25 Missouri (5-0, 1-0 SEC) at Sanford Stadium. For the Bulldogs, one of the stories has been injuries. Running back Keith Marshall and receiver Justin Scott-Wesley suffered knee injuries last week and now join receiver Malcolm Mitchell on the season-ending injury list, ESPN reports.
Running back Todd Gurley missed last week with a sprained ankle and is doubtful for this week, and receiver Michael Bennett hurt his knee in that same game.
Despite the rash of injuries, Bulldogs coach Mark Richt believes his team will be OK.
"I think we're fine. We're ready to go to battle again. Football is a physical game with injuries, and other teams have injuries," Richt said, via ESPN. "Some guys are very excited about the opportunity to make more contributions."
Georgia will continue to rely on quarterback Aaron Murray, who's completed 64.9 percent of his passes for 1,534 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Missouri, meanwhile, continues to win behind the arm of quarterback James Franklin. Through five games, Franklin completed 67.9 percent of his throws for 1,407 yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Tigers also have the benefit of a defense ranked second in the SEC with 15 sacks and tied first in the conference with 11 interceptions.
"There is nothing better than playing against great competition," said Tigers defensive lineman Kony Ealy, "and that is what you are going to see on Saturday in Georgia."
