At the end of last week’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” episode, Melina May (Ming-Na Wen) decided that she would voluntarily participate in combat going forward. According to a sneak peek from Tuesday’s episode, it seems like that decision was both a good idea for the team and for us viewers.
In the sneak peek which can be seen below, Melinda is going up against a rouge agent with super powers. Needless to say, Melinda holds her own. This includes landing a vicious right handed chop to the agent’s head which puts her through a table. (Nice.)
While this fight scene is ridiculously cool it’s possible Melinda is disobeying orders. At the beginning of the sneek peak Melinda tells the agent that Coulson (Clark Gregg) didn’t send her. Also, in the promo for the episode, Coulson and Melinda seem to disagree on what to do with the agent. Coulson wants to save her (which probably has something to do with the fact he trained her) while Melinda wants to “take her out.”
Which do you think they should do?
Throughout the last episode it looked as if Agent Coulson was struggling in the field. He especially had problems using a gun. This is a pretty big issue for any government agent—let alone one that’s apart of a secret super-hero-containing organization.
Could the merky events between Coulson’s death in “The Avengers” and his miraculous comeback to “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”? Maria Hill (Colbie Smulders) said he wasn’t in Tahiti. So what really happened? Any suggestions? Comment below.
