Just weeks after the "final trailer" for the highly anticipated film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiered, a new Japanese version was released that features a ton of new footage.
Daisy Ridley's Rey is still the center point of the trailer where she discusses her family with BB-8 and is threatened by Adam Driver's Kylo Ren. "I know all about waiting ... for my family," she tells BB-8 as the two walk through the dessert.
Other new and exciting scenes include the first look at C-3PO and actual dialog from Leia, Rey's introduction to John Boyega's Finn and more blood-pumping combat scenes. The international trailer also gives an exciting glimpse at Harrison Ford's Han Solo as well as a brief appearance from Chewbacca possibly blowing something up.
Lupita Nyong'o's Maz Kanata continues to be the ray of hope and ends the trailer with some words of wisdom for Rey: "Hope is not lost today. It is found," she says in the voiceover.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters on Dec. 18.
