Rapper 50 Cent isn't happy with his Vivica A. Fox. During Sunday's "Watch What Happens Live," host Andy Cohen questioned the 51-year-old actress about her upcoming role on Lee Daniels hit musical drama "Empire," where Fox will be playing Cookie's older sister Candice. While on the topic of "Empire," Cohen asked Fox her reaction to 50 Cent blaming the show's declining ratings for season two on the "gay stuff."
"What were your thoughts when 50 Cent blamed the season ratings dip on 'gay stuff?'" Cohen asked.
Fox responded, "First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I'm saying."
Fox's response was a surprise to both Cohen and fellow guest Kandi Burruss of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta," who chimed in saying, "That was some tea! That was shade. That was major shade."
Cohen asked the "Kill Bill" actress if she was implying that the 40-year-old rapper might be gay, to which she responded, "he's not." She added, "We had a great time. He just seems like he's got something that's not quite clear."
Fox later admitted that the XXL Magazine cover with 50 Cent and Soulja Boy raised some red flags.
Soulja Boy, 25, first took to his Instagram to take his part in the fued, sharing a photo of Fox on the red carpet with the caption, "Everybody hit up this cougar. She's single & ready to mingle. 1-800-GrannyDesperateForAttention extension I'mWashedUp."
Meanwhile, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, posted a screen grab of Soulja Boy's post and wrote, "Now she thinks I'm gay because I let her lick my ass. Wait, I didn't want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 shades of grey."
Accusations that 50 Cent doesn't completely support "Empire" started in October after the rapper shared a now-deleted Instagram account called, @industryonblast. The suggested that "Empire's" ratings were declining because of "too many celebrity cameos and gay plots," according to TheWrap.
At the end of the show, Cohen read a statement from a representative from 50 Cent, clarifying his stance on the show.
"Mr. Jackson [50 Cent] reposted something on Instagram that originated from a blog in relation to the decrease in Empire's ratings. When he realized there was additional content in the blog post that he did not agree with, he immediately deleted the post as that is not a reflection of his views at all," the statement read, according to E! News.
