Earlier this month an apparent manual for Google's upcoming flagship handset leaked online. The Nexus 5 smartphone manual detailed everything people need to know about the device before it hits the market. Following that leak a new seven minute video has been posted showing Google's new device in detail.
According to a post on Android Police, the video gives an overview of the LG-built device's hardware, software and everything in between. However, one thing that is making many people raise an eyebrow at the supposed leak is that the phone is running on the Android "Key Lime Pie" version rather than the expected update to the operating system that is called "KitKat." It's possible the engineers used the Key Lime Pie name until its marketing colleagues struck a promotional deal with Nestle to name it KitKat, according to Mashable.
The Nexus 5 in the video is running a much older version of Android than it's slated to be released. Photos of what appears to be another Nexus 5 running a more recent version of Android have also surfaced this week, so it's possible that KitKat has since been brought to the device's prototypes.
The new flagship smartphone from Google is expected to debut later this month. Some reports even indicate that it will be unveiled as early as Monday. Goole Play has stopped selling the nexus 4 since earlier this month, which suggests that the next generation device will arrive in the very near future.
The device is expected to come with a Full HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor at 2.3GHz and a whopping 3GB of RAM.
