They also revealed they had been separated for a year. It was rumored that the separation would play out on the family reality show. Now according to a new report viewers will also see Kris and Bruce begin to date other people.
A source told Hollywood Life that Kris wants to go public with their dating lives not that they have officially announced their split.
"Kris and Bruce are best friends and will milk their split for everything it's worth," a source said.
According to this source the momager is definitely ready to jump back into the dating scene and is now looking for a younger man. Kris has dated younger men in the past. Todd Waterman, who she admitted to cheating with while she was still married to Robert Kardashian, is 11 years younger than her.
"The separation was Kris' idea. She's tired of being held down. She wants to date, and she wants to date younger men," a source told Hollywood Life. "Kris and Bruce were fighting nonstop and Bruce was tired of Kris treating him like a second-class citizen."
Kris' sister, Karen Houghton, told Star magazine that she was confident the matriarch would move on in no time and wouldn't stay single for long.
"Bruce will find someone else," she said. "But I guarantee you, Kris will find someone in two days, I promise."
Following the announcement of the split, Kris was spotted enjoying herself as she had lunch with Kim Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan Cheban and posing with her "new boo" NSYNC member Lance Bass. It was rumored that Bruce had started talking to his ex-wife, Linda Thompson again.
