One woman says that she could have been the one "ingratiated" with Bill Clinton, according to the Daily Mail. Natalie Plain, a 41-year-old woman from L.A., not only interned at the White House in 1995, but shared a cubicle with Monica Lewinsky.
According to Plain, it could have easily been her associated with one of the biggest sexual scandals in U.S. history, or any number of the other interns.
Apparently, she had no idea the affair was even going on, according to the Idaho Daily News.
"She was just a pretty normal girl from California," said Plain. "There was nothing about her that would make you say 'wow, she's going to take part in one of the biggest political scandals in U.S. history.'"
"Really, it could have been any number of us interns in that position had we ingratiated ourselves with the president," she added.
Plain went on to spill the beans about Hillary Clinton, saying how she was "not a people person," according to the Independent Journal.
"Even when her husband was in office, she seemed to envy his popularity and power," she said. "In her mind, she was the brains behind the operation and the more capable leader, though her husband received the accolades because he was a man and the president."
