Betsy Drake, the actress who tied the knot to actor Cary Grant, died on Oct. 27 at her London residence at the age of 92, according to her friend. Drake was Grant's third wife, and the couple featured in two films together: "Every Girl Should Be Married" and "Room for One More," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Drake and Grant met in August 1947 on board the Queen Mary while returning back to America from England. Grant, who was 20 years older than Drake, was smitten by the actress when he first saw her a few years earlier in London, playing the lead role in the play "Deep Are the Roots," after which he asked actress Merle Oberon to introduce him to Drake.
