Notre Dame NEWS: Will Fuller Committed To Playing Senior Season With Fighting Irish

Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller has stated that he will play his senior season at Notre Dame and will not enter the 2016 NFL Draft, according Jim Reineking of College Football 24/7.

"I knew all along that I wanted to get that degree and it's not something that I want to think about. I'm just focusing on winning one game at a time and that's it," said Fuller, via College Football 24/7. "I'm going to graduate. That's what I came her for."

Fuller is having a huge season for the Irish, and would likely be a first or second round draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. The junior receiver out of Philadelphia already has 900 yards receiving with 12 touchdowns. He has 28 career touchdowns and 2,154 receiving yards in three seasons with Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish just moved into the top four in the College Football Playoff, and Fuller is a key to Notre Dame's success. Fuller is coming off his biggest game of the season with 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns. It almost seems impossible to cover the Irish's top target as he continually gets open, but he can also catch passes in traffic.

It's incredible to think that Fuller is still producing despite losing his starting quarterback in Malik Zaire. Sophomore quarterback DeShone Kizer has stepped in nicely for Zaire, and has seemed to find a rhythm with Fuller.

Fuller will be back next season, and it's expected that Zaire will be back and healthy next season as well. Head coach Brian Kelly has his team focused solely on this season, but their future is looking bright with a couple star players returning. Notre Dame faces Wake Forest this Saturday, but has a key matchup against the Stanford Cardinal in its last game of the season. That game could determine if the Fighting Irish make the College Football Playoff, but Fuller and company will have to take care of Wake Forest and Boston College before they can concentrate on the Cardinal.
