In celebration of the 11th Annual Guinness World Records Day on Thursday, Otto the bulldog broke the world record in one of the most eccentric categories for "Longest human tunnel travelled through by a skateboarding dog."
An estimated 650,000 people around the world attempted to break numerous records that day, but Otto's skateboarding stunt between 30 pairs of legs was one of the most celebrated, Huffington Post reported.
The 3-year-old English bulldog broke the record in a park in Lima, Peru, starting on top of hill then gliding down towards the human tunnel, while people around the park cheered on. At the end of the tunnel, Luciana Viale and Robert Rickards, owners of Otto, were proudly waiting, the New York Daily News reports.
Otto now joins the ranks of other Bulldog superstars, including fellow Guinness celebrity Tillman, who set the speed record for 100 meters, at just under 20 seconds, in 2009, according to American Kennel Club.
Viale and Rickards were actually inspired to get a bulldog after seeing videos of Tillman. Tillman, sadly, died Oct. 29 at the age of 10.
Otto can also surf and skimboard ,and this talent was accidentally discovered when Otto went gliding towards Viale one day, the New York Daily News added.
