On Thursday's episode of "The Late Late Show with James Corden," guest Olivia Wilde shared a touching story about when she met the late Chris Farley at a "Saturday Night Live" after party when she was 10-year-old. The actress revealed that when she was a kid she was a bit overweight, and Farley made her feel better about herself.
"Something that I was really fascinated with is that you got to meet Chris Farley," Corden said to Wilde. "He's a bit of a hero of mine, what was he like?"
"I was a fat kid. I was standing by the dessert table, as usual, eating a brownie, kind of self-consciously," Wilde said. "Chris Farley walked up, locked eyes with me, took a brownie, put it in his mouth. Then took another brownie, and put it in his mouth. Then another one, and put it in his mouth. Then he started slamming them into his mouth, and it was all to delight a child."
"He took time out of his party to come over and make me laugh," Wilde said. "It was so moving, so sweet."
While on the show, Wilde also took a shot at GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush. Last month, Bush said that he thought "Supergirl" actress Melissa Benoist was "pretty hot" during a campaign event in Las Vegas, according to Entertainment Weekly. Benoist was a fellow guest on "the Late Late Show" along with Wilde, and when asked about Bush's comments, Benoist laughed them off and just said she was "glad he's excited to watch the show."
"It may be the only thing he's ever been right about," Wilde said of Bush's "hot" comment as Benoist laughed.
