Kim Kardashian is just six weeks away from giving birth to her baby boy, and she's already gained more weight than she did during her first pregnancy. The 35-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star tweeted Thursday that she was up 52 pounds, and she's a little nervous that she could possibly gain even more over the next several weeks.
"You know, last time I gained 50 pounds and I delivered around this time, you know, week wise into my pregnancy. And so I'm 52 pounds up and I still have, what six weeks to go? So I'm definitely a little nervous, but I'm enjoying it," she told E! News. "I've started to eat whatever I want. I know my bounce back game is [strong]. I enjoy the process, the challenge of getting back, so I'm not worried about the afterword."
During her pregnancy with her and her husband Kanye West's first child North West, she had gained a similar amount of weight, but she managed to look bigger that time around than she does now, and that's because she's been doing things differently. "This time around I have a nutritionist to keep me healthy while I'm pregnant," she said back in June, as HNGN previously reported. "The last pregnancy, I ate a donut every single day, I'm not doing that this time. But I've also been taking it easy and enjoying myself."
Carrying a boy can take a much different toll on your body than carrying a girl can. "My baby is a lot bigger this time," she continued to tell E! News. "It's a whole different weight shift...Every pregnancy is really different and I carry the weight differently."
With her mom Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney having such amazing pregnancies every single time and always raving about how amazing it was, Kim has no problem admitting that she struggles and that it's just not the same for her.
"I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other," she explained. "You know, it was really hard for me to get pregnant so I do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and, at the end of the day, it is a million times worth it...I'm just being honest and honest about [it]. I hate it. You know pregnancy is not for me...It's awful."
