Grammy award winner Adele's soulful song, "Hello," has gone platinum, reported Forbes. Today, the UK Official Charts released the stats: Adele's "Hello" has made the #1 spot its home on the charts. It has been the top single for three weeks in a row, according to BBC.
The Academy Award winner, for her 2013 song "Skyfall," is giving Justin Bieber and Elvis Presley stiff competition in sales.
The British bombshell has sold over 600,000 singles, which is 34,000 more that Justin Bieber's "Sorry," noted the Western Daily Press. "Hello" has been the fastest selling song of the year. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) awarded "Hello" the status of being the United Kingdom's number one streaming song, reported Forbes. The track has gotten 4.7 million listens.
Apparently Elvis Presely still lives on the billboard charts. His collection "If I Can Dream," which is a compilation of his hits mixed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, has garnered over 88,600 sales, according to Forbes. The King comes second to Adele in 2015.
"Hello" is the debut single on Adele's third and latest album, "25," which is set to be released on Nov. 20.
