There are a lot of good matchups in Week 10 and our NFL picks should give you some guidance as you make your pool picks or place your bets on Sunday. The New England Patriots visiting the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks hosting the Arizona Cardinals highlight Week 10.
New Orleans Saints @ Washington Redskins
New Orleans' defense has allowed 10 (!) touchdown passes over their last two games, but in a shootout I'm going with Drew Brees over Kirk Cousins.
Take Saints +1, Saints money line (-105) and the over at 50.5.
Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers
The Packers return to Lambeau Field after two tough road losses in a row. You think Aaron Rodgers is going to let the team continue to slide against a Detroit defense that ranks dead last in opposing completion percentage (73.1)? Me neither.
Take Packers -10.5 and the over at 50. Money line option is not available for this game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys
Dallas keeps losing close games and Tampa Bay has a couple of quality road victories against the Saints and Falcons. It'll make for an interesting duel. The Cowboys' defense has played well up until last week's 33-27 loss to the Eagles, but I think Jason Garrett will find a way to beat rookie QB Jameis Winston.
Take Cowboys -1.5 and the over at 43.5. Money line option is not available for this game.
Carolina Panthers @ Tennessee Titans
Yes, the Panthers are due for a loss any day now. But the good vibes from Mike Mularkey's first win as interim coach won't carry over into this week. Carolina's defense is just too strong right now.
Take Panthers -4.5, Panthers money line (-230) and the under at 43.
Chicago Bears @ St. Louis Rams
This game has pretty big playoff implications for both teams. Chicago can stay alive and improve to 4-5 while St. Louis can jump to 5-4 and can gain on the Cardinals in the NFC West. The Bears have squeaked out three late victories this season, but the Rams defense at home won't let them do that this week (they've given up 18 points in three home games). Nonetheless, the Bears will cover the spread.
Take Bears +7, Rams money line (-320) and the under at 42.
Miami Dolphins @ Philadelphia Eagles
The Dolphins are 1-3 on the road and have given up 95 points in their last three games. The Eagles have found a bit of a groove over the past month and need a win this week to catch up to the Giants in the NFC East. Philly will win and cover the spread.
Take Eagles -7, Eagles money line (-290) and the over at 47.5.
Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have won two games without Ben Roethlisberger this season, so they should be able to get the W against a vulnerable Browns defense. But it won't be a blowout. Let's see how Landry Jones performs in his second start at QB.
Take Browns +6, Steelers money line (-245) and the under at 41.5.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Baltimore Ravens
The Jaguars have had a good season despite their 2-6 record. They've played every team tough and lost a couple of close ones on the road. The Ravens are having perhaps the worst season of any NFL team in terms of underachieving, but they're coming off a victory in Week 8 and a bye in Week 9. They won't cover the spread, but they'll win a close one.
Take Jaguars +5.5, Ravens money line (-245) and the over at 47.5.
Minnesota Vikings @ Oakland Raiders
This may be the game of the week in terms of Wild Card projections. But Oakland is sporting a top ten offense right now and Teddy Bridgewater is coming off a concussion. I'll go with the home team on the rise.
Take Raiders -2.5, Raiders money line (-140) and the under at 43.
New England Patriots @ New York Giants
It's hilarious to think Tom Coughlin is 5-1 against Bill Belichick and Eli Manning is 3-1 against Tom Brady. We're slated for a shootout in this matchup, but it doesn't look like the Giants will have their usual luck against the Patriots this time around. Their defense is banged up badly and New England's D has played well in almost every game. Stops will be the key in this one, and the Pats will be able to stop the G-Men more.
Take Patriots -7, Patriots money line (-340) and the over at 53.5.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos
The Chiefs are coming off a bye week, which is always a risky proposition to bet against. But the Broncos just dropped their first game of the season and even Old Man Manning has enough left in the tank to take advantage of KC's 23rd ranked passing defense.
Take Broncos -4, Broncos money line (-215) and the over at 42.5.
Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks still boast arguably the league's most complete defense, ranking in the top five in almost every major category. But their offense has left a lot to be desired. Now is the time for Carson Palmer and the Cardinals to show the NFL that they are a serious threat.
Take Cardinals +3, Cardinals money line (+130) and the under at 43.5.
Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are coming off 10 days rest and the Texans are coming off a bye week. Cincinnati managed to cover last week's 11-point spread against the Browns, who play them tough almost every year. The Texans are a pretty bad team and the last three games between these two have been in Houston. The Jungle will be too overwhelming for the underwhelming Texans.
Take Bengals -10.5 and the under at 47.5. Money line option is not available for this game.
