LinkedIn announced on Wednesday is sharing its recruiting tools to its mobile users.
The social networking site for people in professional occupations launched its two popular desktop services modified for on-the-go use, Recruiter Mobile and Mobile Work with Us, in Las Vegas.
Senior director Parker Barrile told USA Today, "We took the most important functionality in Recruiter, redesigned it from the ground up, to be optimized for mobile, and packed it into an incredibly useful and beautiful mobile app."
Recruiter Mobile is LinkedIn's primary subscription service and is responsible for the largest part of the company's revenue. It helps employers search for possible candidates on the job they are opening. They can call, text, and send InMails to their possible candidates. After which, they can send prospects to hiring managers.
As of the moment, one thirds of its members login to the site through their mobile phones. Because of these mobile services, LinkedIn has projected an enormous growth in the number of users. For those seeking employees and recruiting workforces, mobile apps like Recruiter Mobile and Mobile Work With Us, are very important tools.
On the other hand, the new Mobile Work With Us allows employers to let job seekers see job openings on their profiles. These job openings and advertisements will be at the top of the member's profile.
Also, LinkedIn's new Mobile Work With Us job advertisements on the homepages of user's familiar contacts and work colleagues is intentionally maneuvered to be just another way to connect with even passive job seekers.
Among other areas, Silicon Valley is in a vicious scuffle for talent. Taking on bonuses for key technology developers and executives can bring revenue of tens of thousands of dollars.
LinkedIn's Recruiter Mobile and Mobile Work With Us are now available on Apple App Store for download.
