An elderly couple at a train station in Atlanta helped a young man tie his necktie properly. One witness said the mysterious couple saw how the man struggled to fix his necktie while he was at the Linderbergh Center MARTA station. It was the older woman who approached the man and asked if he had any knowledge with what he was doing.
"No, ma'am," the man responded to the woman, witness Redd Desmond Thomas said, according to the New York Daily News. The elderly woman then told her husband to assist and teach the man what to do. "Come to this side [her right side; he was standing on her left side] and teach this young man how to tie his tie."

"The older gentleman moved without hesitation and gave him a step-by-step tutorial; then the elder gentleman watched the young gentleman repeat the steps and show him that he had it," Thomas wrote on in a Facebook post along with a photo of the exchange, according to Fox 8 Cleveland. "I was some distance away (but close enough to hear the exchange), and got even closer to snap this candid photo of the tutorial in progress before hopping on the train," he said in detail how he was able to capture the heartwarming moment.
Thomas' photo which was posted on Nov. 14 went viral and touched many people who saw it.
"That may have helped him have the confidence to nail a job interview! Nice to see a compassionate exchange between today's youth and the older generation!" one commenter said, according to the Telegraph.
"Priceless, there are still good people in the world. Child still willing to learn and older people with stuff left to teach. God is good all the time. Find your peace and refresh our faith." another commenter said.
The photo had more than 707,000 likes and more than 183,000 shares on Facebook as of Tuesday.
