GQ announced today that President Barack Obama will cover the magazine's annual "Men of the Year" issue, according to Townhall.
In the special GQ issue, the 44th president is interviewed by Bill Simmons, reported Complex. Obama talks pop culture, politics and life post- presidency, among other topics.
"I would've enjoyed campaigning against Trump," Obama tells Simmons in the question-and-answer session. "That would've been fun."
He mentions that he enjoys watching "Game of Thrones" but doesn't remember all of the characters' names. The second-term president mentions his daughters' obsession with their smart phones and the lovely first lady Michelle Obama, noted The YBF.
When Simmons asked the president if anyone has come to the White House and picked up his older daughter for a date, Obama replied: "No, but I’ve seen some folks glancing at her in ways that made me not happy."
Simmons asked Obama about his wife's possible billion dollar talk show deal:
"Does it scare you that your wife could have a billion-dollar daytime talk show and you could be Stedman 2.0?"
"Uh…" Obama said with a laugh.
"Because that’s in play. She could do that if she wanted," said Simmons.
"And if that’s what she wants to do, I’m OK with her making a whole lot of money. There’s nothing wrong with that," Obama said.
Simmons also asked Obama if he ever wanted to own an NBA team.
"Absolutely," Obama responded.
