Every year People Magazine releases who it believes is the sexiest man alive, and after a year of Chris Hemsworth holding the elite title, we have finally found out who is the well-deserved hunk of 2015. On Tuesday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," the late night host had the honor of revealing the hottie on his talk show for the third year in a row and it turns out former soccer star David Beckham is People's 2015 Sexiest Man Alive!
People Magazine had been teasing it's followers on who the man of the year could possibly be for weeks now with sneak peeks from the official photo shoot, and after many guessed in the comment section that it could be Beckham, we finally got to see the 40-year-old athlete's steamy shoot. People also took it's Instagram followers on a trip down memory lane by showing off magazine covers of the previous hunks. From Adam Levine, to Channing Tatum, to Bradley Cooper, to Johnny Depp and so many more, Beckham is now a part of the most prestigious lists of attractive men in Hollywood.
After a series of "yes" or "no" questions from the audience, they had it narrowed down to a former athlete who was married to another celebrity with children and a a few tattoos, and the crowd screamed in excitement when Beckham finally revealed himself. From some of the hottest underwear shoots in the world and too many sexy tattoos to count, Beckham has proved time and time again that he is most definitely worthy of this title.
"It's the best moment of my career," Beckham jokingly told Kimmel via video chat. "I can't believe it." As for those who were not worthy enough of receiving this honor? "Maybe next year," he teased.
