Warning: The following contains possible spoilers for AMC's "The Walking Dead."
Earlier today, Reddit user chucksullivan1 posted a cell phone video, which appeared to show Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan in AMC's "The Walking Dead." Although the footage was quickly taken down, it was up long enough for The Walking Dead Enthusiasts to get a description and the content of the video is quite shocking. Apparently, Negan was delivering the notorious bat death scene from "The Walking Dead" comic book series.
"In the video, Morgan is seen raising the bat and delivering a crushing blow to whomever is beneath it. What you can't tell from the video is who exactly is getting hit - which fans have already been speculating for months. It also appears that 'Negan' is laughing after taking a swing."
SPOILER ALERT
In the comics, Glenn infamously falls victim to Negan's barbed wire wrapped bat that he affectionately calls Lucille. Negan beats him to death with it in Issue 100. However, in the AMC series Glenn's fate is uncertain at the moment. When last we saw him he was being torn apart by Walkers, though some fans aren't so sure that it was real.
Could Glenn have survived that seemingly grisly death only to suffer an even worse fate when Negan reportedly shows up in the season six finale? That would be a pretty cruel blow for both the character and for fans. We'll have to wait to find out.
"The Walking Dead" airs Sunday nights at 9:00 PM ET on AMC.
