The Originals Spoilers: Klaus Tells Cami His Motives; What is His Plan for Her? [VIDEO]

As far as relationships go on “The Originals”, the Klaus/Cami relationship is probably the most complicated.

Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is fascinated by the unsuspecting human and last episode proved there are even sparks between him and Cami (Leah Pipes).

However, he’s already compelled her twice to give Marcel a second and third chance at romancing her.

So either he’s really adamant about seeing Marcel get his dream girl or he thinks using Cami as a pawn is much more important than any romance he himself could have with her.

Each interaction between Klaus and Cami causes us fans to question the hybrid’s motives. Judging from a sneak peek given exclusively to TVGuide.com, we’ll be doing that once again.

In the video Klaus pretty much outlines his motives to Cami as they talk inside his house (or should I say mansion). He explains that he wants to keep Hayley safe and free Davina from Marcel. He even calls Marcel a tyrant.

However, he never uses names or mentions that he’s referring to a werewolf, witch and vampire.

“I want to help both of these women,” Klaus tells her.

So why is Klaus telling her all this? Is he using her? Did she compel her so she’ll end up forgetting what he said?

In a recent interview with TVLine, executive producer Michael Narducci said there won’t be a romantic relationship between Cami and Klaus. Also, Morgan himself told EOnline his character wouldn’t really fall in love anytime soon.

Regardless of these comments, many fans are still hoping for “Klamille” to happen. On the other hand some fans may take Morgan’s and Narducci’s comments as a sign that there’s still hope for “Klaroline.”

“The Originals” airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
