Black Friday is only a few days away, but retailers have yet to announce smartphone deals that are as comprehensive as those for computers, tablets and televisions. Best Buy, Target and Walmart have already unveiled their promos for Apple's iPhone, as HNGN previously reported. However, the number of deals for the rest of the smartphone products is still a bit lean. Here are some top announcements that HNGN has collected so far.
Kmart has a ZTE phone that consumers can purchase for $40. The Boost Mobile ZTE Speed smartphone is a 4.5-inch, pre-paid 8GB model, and it usually retails for $100. Another ZTE handset is also available at Target on Black Friday: the ZTE Maven. The AT&T handset will have the same $40 price tag and will come with a free $45 airtime credit with no contract.
Several vendors are also slashing price for the Moto E. The Verizon Wireless handset will be sold from $70 to $10 at Best Buy. The Boost mobile version will be offered with a $70 discount at Target.
Three handsets also stood out among OPPO's Black Fridal deals. The R7, R7 Plus and the N3 will all get a $100 discount. The first two handsets will also come with a free selfie stick.
The number of Black Friday smartphone deals is still expected to increase, as retailers started breaking up their offerings on days leading up to the big day. Amazon, for example, offers lightning deals daily between 3 p.m. PST and 11 p.m. PST, according to CNET.
