Ride and animatronics company Sally Corp. has unveiled a "Walking Dead" theme park ride dubbed "The Walking Dead: Battle for Survival" at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) convention in Orlando, Fla, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The ride, based on the AMC hit, is being billed as a "mixed media ride featuring familiar settings and characters from the TV show using a combination of live animatronics and effects with projections," according to Inside the Magic.
The IAAPA is an expo where more than 1,000 exhibitors showcase their ideas and concepts to nearly 18,000 buyers, companies and amusement park owners. The "Walking Dead" ride doesn't have a buyer yet, but it is expected to bag an order at the convention, Fox News reported.
Sally Corporation is the company responsible for the "ET Adventure" ride at Universal Studios in Florida and Los Angeles. The company's other credits include the "Justice League: Battle for Metropolis" attraction at Six Flags in Texas and St. Louis, as well as the "Zombie Adventure" ride at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
