Kylie Jenner and Tyga are over! The controversial couple, who seemed inseparable during social events and on social media, have reportedly called it quits after more than a year of dating, a source close to the rapper confirmed to People and TMZ.
A source said the 18-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star dumped her older rapper boyfriend on his 26th birthday, which was on Thursday. The split reportedly happened after she returned to Los Angeles following a promotional trip to Australia with her sister Kendall.
"They are on a break," an insider told E! News. "They were just a week or so ago talking about 'ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."
However, another source told TMZ that Jenner and Tyga's split had something to do with "pressure from the Kardashians." TMZ also reported that the reality star ended the relationship over "something Tyga did."
Without revealing any intimate details, a source told the site that the separation was "sudden and nasty." Jenner did not attend Tyga's 26th birthday nor did she wish him a happy birthday.
Tyga kicked it off his big day at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood before heading to 1OAK nightclub. He was joined by his friends that included celebrities like A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christina Milian. There was no one from the Kardashian/Jenner clan present at his celebration.
The two started dating while Jenner was still underage, but they went public with their relationship after the reality star turned 18 over the summer. Tyga gifted his then-girlfriend with a new car for her big day and the two also went on vacation to Mexico.
