If you’re a Neal/Emma shipper then I’m here to tell you that things are going to get a little uncomfortable.
According to a photo and gif provided exclusive to the Entertainment Weekly website, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will be kissing someone, not named Neal (Michael Raymond James).
That’s right Hook (Colin O’Donoghue)/Emma shippers, you guys get a win.
Morrison told the website’s Sandra Gonzalez that the lip-lock was kind of inevitable.
“I kind of knew at some point it was coming,” Morrison said. “I knew from all the way back, when they brought both Michael Raymond-James and Colin O’Donoghue on, that it was always the intention to create some sort of love triangle with the two of them and Emma…having a very legitimate pull between those two men.”
Fans have seen sparks between Emma and Hook ever since they traveled up the beanstalk. This season Hook/Emma fans got the nice moment on Hook’s boat in addition to all the flirty comments the pirate has made.
Gonzalez previously reported that the writers would “have a little fun” with Hook and Emma this season.
I was of the opinion that wouldn’t extend past some flirting. Apparently I was wrong.
If Neal/Emma fans are wondering where Emma’s true love is, he is back in Neverland. In Sunday’s episode he could be working with his father to find Henry (Jared S. Gilmore). Rumple (Robery Carlyle) is under the impression that he must sacrifice his life to save Henry from Pan (Robbie Kay). Neal has some good news for his dad—there may be another way. The Hook/Emma kiss will happen during the Oct. 28 episode.
