The Iowa Hawkeyes visit the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday in a Big Ten conference game. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE and HERE.
Ohio State remains undefeated with a perfect 6-0 record. Even more impressive, according to the Associated Press, is the record of coach Urban Meyer since taking over the Buckeyes program: 18-0.
Meyer acknowledged maintaining the perfect record could put undue pressure on his players, something he doesn't want to burden the team with.
"I can feel sometimes pressure mounting on players when you (are on a) streak," Meyer said, via the Associated Press. "You start hearing about streaks. And it's my job as a coach and our coaching staff (to make sure) it's all about (Saturday)."
Ohio's offense has produced with Kenny Guiton under center. He's completed 68.4 percent of his passes for 664 yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions. Running back Jordan Hall has chipped in with 427 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
Iowa, meanwhile, is 4-2 on the season and looking to upset the Ohio State powerhouse. Quarterback Jake Rudock has completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 1,202 yards and eight touchdowns, but has struggled with ball security - Rudock already has six interceptions.
Running back Mark Weisman has shouldered much of the offensive burden and ranks third in the Big Ten with 104.0 rushing yards per game. He's run for 625 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
Weisman knows the Ohio State's line is a challenge to run against.
"Another good defense, another good test," Weisman said. "We have to worry about us. That's all we can worry about now."
