Detroit Tigers Vs. Boston Red Sox Live Radio Broadcast: ALCS Game 6 (LISTEN)

The Detroit Tigers play the Boston Red Sox on Saturday in Game 6 of their AL championship series. The game starts at 8:07 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.

Boston can close the series with a win on Saturday. Detroit, meanwhile, is placing their hope of forcing a seventh game on the shoulders of ace pitcher Max Scherzer. The right-hander pitched a no-hitter into the sixth inning of Game 2, but Detroit's bullpen squandered the 5-0 lead - thanks to a grand slam homer from David Ortiz.

Detroit, however, recognizes winning isn't solely on Scherzer.

"We have to go to Fenway and we have to fight hard enough to win a game," Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera told reporters, via the Associated Press. "If we do that, we have to keep fighting and get the next one. We've done this before, and we've got great pitchers."

Scherzer, Justin Verlander and Anibal Sanchez highlight the Tigers' talented pitching rotation. Through the first four games, Detroit's pitchers gave up only three runs in 27 innings, according to the Associated Press.

"They were pitching pretty well the first (couple) of games. They shut us down," Boston slugger Mike Napoli told reporters. "It's been a great series all-around. But it's not over yet. We've got to take care of business. We've got (Clay) Buchholz going, and we've got all the confidence in the world in him."

Buchholz pitched in Game 2, where he gave up five runs in 5.2 innings. He'll look to limit the Tigers' offense and hope for run support. For their part, Boston is expecting another slugfest.

"We all know what we are up against," said Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia. "I expect it's going to be another one of those tough games."
