The Florida State Seminoles visit the Clemson Tigers on Saturday for an ACC college football showdown. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.
Two undefeated teams clash Saturday night in a primetime matchup. The ACC rivalry is made even bigger by the two teams both being ranked in the top five. No. 5 FSU and No. 3 Clemson is the first game between two top-five schools since 2005, the Associated Press reports.
"It may be the biggest game in ACC history. We don't know," Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley told the Associated Press. "But our goal is to win a national championship."
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney added: "Obviously, we know it's a big game, got a lot of national relevance, conference relevance and all that."
The Seminoles have a 5-0 record thanks largely to the performance of quarterback Jameis Winston. He's making a strong case for the Heisman, too. Through FSU's first six games, Winston has completed 73.2 percent of his passes for 1,441 yards, 17 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
"He doesn't look like any redshirt freshman I've ever seen," Swinney said of Winston.
Swinney is confident in his own quarterback, Tajh Boyd, who's helped the Tigers to a 6-0 record. Another Heisman candidate, Boyd completed 123-of-185 passes for 1,783 yards, 15 touchdowns and two interceptions through the Tigers' first six games; he has another five touchdowns on the ground.
Boyd remembers the loss to FSU last year and will undoubtedly want to make his case for the Heisman trophy even stronger with a win against Florida.
Winston knows Boyd and the Tigers' stingy defense will come out swinging.
"They're after our necks," Winston told reporters. "We beat them at our home field last year. They beat us at their home (field) the year before that. It's just going back and forth battle."
