Vicki Gunvalson stopped by Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday night, and The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star opened up to host Andy Cohen about her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers and his cancer diagnosis and even revealed details about her relationship with her ex-husband Donn Gunvalson, People reported.
Gunvalson said she began to question the validity of Ayers' stage three Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis when he switched treatments in March. But when she confronted him about it, he got defensive.
"He kept saying stay out of my health care, this is my journey," Gunvalson told Cohen.
She also said that she prepared a white binder for Ayers to document every doctor visit, test result and prescription so that he could keep on top of his treatment and whether it was working. Ayers got defensive again when she asked to see the documents.
"He said, 'You'll never have access to my medical records,'" she said. "That was another red flag."
Cohen pointed out that this is the second relationship that Gunvalson has been involved in since joining the "Real Housewives" franchise and asked if it was because she was attracted to men who weren't good for her. Gunvalson answered honestly and reflected on her relationship with her ex-husband and revealed she would be spending Thanksgiving with him and their children in Florida as a family.
"I think Donn was an amazing man, so I'm not gonna say he wasn't good for me," Gunvalson said of her ex-husband. "I think that if I had to do it all over again, I would not have divorced Donn."
"For me, on my end I would because I want my family back," she continued when asked if she would ever get back together with him. "But I don't think for Donn, I think he's really hurt."
