Gwen Stefani had a slip-up during an interview before Monday night's live episode of NBC's "The Voice," Entertainment Tonight reported. Stefani dropped the "L" word and professed her love for her new beau and "The Voice" co-star Blake Shelton in a joint interview with fellow coach Adam Levine.
In a pre-show interview with Entertainment Tonight, "The Voice" coaches Levine and Stefani were asked to name some of the qualities they were most grateful for in their fellow coaches. Levine answered playfully about Blake Shelton.
"F--k Blake, I've known Blake for too long, Blake's just my buddy," Levine said. "I'm just kidding, I love you Blake, kinda, ish."
Stefani was also in a playful mood, and she leaned in toward the microphone and said, "I love you too Blake, ish!"
"You hear that? Trouble," Levine said, teasing Stefani on her slip-up. "Context, you screwed yourself on that one."
"No I didn't," Stefani said, laughing. "Do you think that was dumb?"
Stefani and Shelton sparked dating rumors in September after they each announced their respective divorces over the summer, as previously reported by HNGN. They finally announced that they were an official couple earlier this month after being spotted together at various Halloween parties in October.
After her interview with Levine, Stefani was caught flirting on-set during commercial breaks with Shelton, E! News reported. During one break, Shelton walked over to Stefani's chair and she put her hand on his back as they whispered back and forth to each other.
