There hasn’t been much news on “The Following” since the Season 1 Finale besides the long line of casting information.
However, in the last week viewers have gotten a couple video’s to help us anticipate Season 2.
The first is a 12-second teaser video posted on the Facebook page for “The Following”. It doesn’t really provide much outside of a flaming raven and the statement, “The next chapter will change everything.”
The second was provided exclusively to EOnline and does a bit more than the first to hype us up for the psychological thriller’s second act.
In the video Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) has created a board outlining Joe Caroll and the serial killers that followed him. Hardy says they’ve “cost (him) everything and everyone” and he then makes a vow that pretty much outlines his mission for this season. You can watch the video here.
Kevin Williamson already said fans would see a difference between the first season and the second. In an interview with TVLine Founder Michael Ausiello during the San Diego Comic Con in July, Williamson explained this time around would be less about the FBI and “the chase.”
In addition to Williamson’s comments, the host of new characters also indicates a variation between the two seasons. In Season 2 we’ll get to meet Ryan’s niece Max (Jessica Stroup) and Ryan could have a love interest not named Claire.
