Kim Kardashian's Baby Weight Loss Isn't Main Priority; North West's Mom Doesn't Want Diet To Affect Breastfeeding?

Kim Kardashian turns 33-years-old on Oct. 21, and could care less about working towards her pre-baby weight?

The Kardashian opened up to London's Sunday Times about how North west and motherhood have affected her life since giving birth in June. The new mommy said she is tryng to lose weight, but doesn't have time to hit the gym as much as she used to.

"I haven't exercised a whole lot so far, just because I've been busy with the baby and I don't want to leave her. But growing up our parents always exercised, so it's always been important to us. We all love to work out," she said.

Kim also credited the Atkin diet for helping her shed the post-baby weight.

"Fifteen years ago, I tried the Atkins diet with my dad and we both lost weight really quickly," she said. "And I'm still doing it. I still have my cheat days, but when you're breastfeeding you can't really starve yourself."

However, a source told PerezHilton.com that Kim has been trying very hard to lose weight quickly, working out about four hours today to keep shedding the pounds:

"Kim's been working really hard to lose the weight that she put on carrying Nori, enlisting the help of trainer Tracy Anderson and doing four-hour gym sessions. She's lost around 40 pounds and has cut carbs from her diet, but it's not happening fast enough for her.

"Kanye's reassuring her that she looks fantastic, but she's still feeling self-conscious, wearing clothes that swamp her figure and dying her brunette locks golden to draw attention away from her body."

Kim reportedly cares a lot about boyfriend Kanye West's opinion of her. She'll even take fashion advice because she trusts his judgment

"I'll put something on and he'll say, 'No, that doesn't look good,' and I'll trust him," Kim told PEOPLE about her man's eye for style.
