Jamie Chung, who is best known for being a cast member on "Real World: San Diego" in 2004 as well as the spin-off show "Real World/Road Rules Challenge," has been receiving some crazy threats from an obsessive fan.
The 32-year-old former reality star in August was flooded with 100 emails threatening her life, according to TMZ. It got to a point where Chung had to get the LAPD involved to track down the fan who continued to harass her from two separate Gmail accounts. It started off as just "annoying" but eventually turned into death threats.
LAPD found that the two accounts were owned by the same person, and they were able to track him down and obtain a search warrant. Once they realized he was too far away from where Chung lives to be a real threat, they closed the case without any charges.
Since her time on the MTV reality shows, Chung has been working on her acting and fashion careers. She has made appearances in movies like "Hangover II" and TV shows like "Once Upon A Time" and was even recently named the NFL Apparel brand ambassador, according to Us Weekly. She also married actor Bryan Greenberg just last month.
"It was wonderful!" she told Us Weekly of the wedding. "Now we just have FOMO because it is done, all the attention is off of us. It was so much fun planning it and everyone says it goes by so quickly, which it absolutely does, and we got the best advice from all of our married friends. Like, 'Just enjoy it because it goes by so quick.' And that's just what we did!"
"It was one of the best days of my life for sure!" Greenberg, 37, added. "I am the luckiest guy in the world."
