Are Apple and Amazon calling a truce? Recent tweets from iOS developer Dan Bostonweeks point to the possibility of Amazon Instant Video coming to Apple TV, according to International Business Times.
Amazon hopes to see their app on the Apple TV service within the next few weeks, according to the International Business Times.
An Amazon representative responded almost immediately to the tweet. "Dan, I have interacted with our technical team and have been informed that they are currently working in developing a new app for the Apple TV. Hopefully, within a few weeks span, you will be able to see the Amazon Instant Video app feature on your Apple TV," he said, according to iDigital Times.
Apps for Amazon Instant Video already exist for iPads and iPhones.
If Amazon is able to get its app onto Apple TV, it's likely that Amazon will once again add Apple products to its online store, according to Apple Insider. Amazon previously pulled all video streaming products from its store.
