Sinéad O'Connor Blames Family For Suicide Attempt, Calls Them 'Murderers, Liars And Hypocrites'

Sunday, Irish singer-songwriter Sinéad O'Connor wrote some alarming and disturbing posts on Facebook that seemed like a suicide note, claiming she had "taken an overdose" after an apparent fight with Donal Lunny, the father of her youngest son Shane, as HNGN previously reported. O'Connor wrote a series of posts blaming Lunny, and the rest of her family, for not allowing her to see her son.

"Apparently I'm scum and deserve to be abandoned and treated like s--t. My children don't care if I live or die anyways," she wrote following the sentence that claimed she had taken an overdose. After several fans made authorities aware of what had been written on her page, they were able to locate her. O'Connor was found "safe and sound" and received medical assistance as this wasn't her first suicide attempt.

Following the eventful and emotional day, O'Connor took to Facebook once again to publicly blame certain family members for provoking these suicidal thoughts. "Kale, Roisin, Jr., Frank, Donal, Eimear, I never want to see you again," wrote the 48-year-old singer to her exes. "You stole my sons from me. Then you had hypocrisy to come to hospital and then not be here when I wake and not pick up phone? I'm s--t to you."

She then specifically called out her four kids, Jake, 28, Rosin, 19, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8, according to Us Weekly. "You're dead to me," she wrote. "You killed your mother."

She then went right back to blaming her exes for causing her this pain and for visiting her in the hospital only while she was not awake. "You stole my sons. You left me alone for twelve weeks!" she continued. "Why did I have to hear it was your hypocritical asses here while I was unconscious?? And now you're gone and not picking up phone? You are child stealing murderers, I never want to see or hear from any of you again. Why were you here when you're the ones who put me here???? And where the f--k are you now??? Murderers. Liars. Hypocrites. All of you. You caused this."
