Kanye West appeared on the 106 KMEL radio show hours before proposing and spoke to hosts Sana and Kimmie about his relationship with Kim Kardashian, being Christian, and everything he didn't get to clarify during the Jimmy Kimmel interview earlier this month.
"I have never loved any girl other than my mother as much as I love my girlfriend," West told the hosts. "I am so happy to be with her and for us to live this life together."
The interview took place before West asked Kardashian to marry him in the San Francisco Giants stadium, and when asked in the interview if he planned to marry Kim, now or in the near future, he responded with a smile and said he wouldn't be answering those questions.
The outspoken rapper said he and Kardashian are the most influential couple in terms of urban fashion and culture, claiming it's all due to the paparazzi and the couple's fashion obsession.
"Me and my girl are extremely influential," West said before correcting himself. "I'm going to word it in a Kanye way: me and my girl are the most influential."
West said he and Kardashian have been spending their paychecks on fashion since they were both 16-years-old, and claims she is one of the top designers in world.
"I don't know exactly what her numbers are," West said, as he named her contracts with Sears and JCPenney, and went on to say that fashion is in their code.
West said one of the reasons why he wanted to work on the "Watch The Throne" album was so that he could absorb some of Jay-Z's social skills, which West thinks are some of best he's ever seen.
"Jay-Z has the best social skills of anyone that I knew at that time," West said. "And I wanted to learn how to move in a room full of vultures. He knows how to move in that room, but I go in and I'm like 'thats a vulture, thats a vulture.'"
Being able to relax has been one of Kardashian's biggest influences on the Chicago native.
"God has now given me another master of the social skills, which is my girl," he said. "Imagine the idea of me, Kanye West, just learning to chill a little bit."
