Gigi Hadid: Apology To Joe Jonas Tweeted, Deleted After Confirming Relationship With Zayn Malik

Gigi Hadid seemed to publicly apologize to her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas with a cryptic tweet on Monday, Us Weekly reported. She quickly deleted the post, which comes just two days after she stepped out with her new man, former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

"Sometimes life just happens.. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn't make sense til it does. That's it," the Victoria's Secret model tweeted, as reported by Us Weekly.

Hadid, 20, broke up with Jonas, 26, in November after only five months of dating, as previously reported by HNGN. Hadid's busy schedule as an in-demand model and Jonas' commitment to his new group DNCE was cited as the reason for the split.

But Hadid was spotted holding hands with Malik on Saturday Nov. 28, just weeks after her break up with Jonas, as reported by HNGN. After Hadid and Malik stepped out together as a couple, Jonas unfollowed them both on Twitter. Jonas also deleted a photo with Malik and Kanye West the Valentino show during Paris fashion week from his Instagram page.

Shortly after deleting her cryptic tweet, Hadid posted an animated photo to Twitter featuring palm trees and a beach view with the word "chill" written across the sky. She captioned her tweet with a simple smiley face emoticon.
