By now, gamers already know of the massive "Clash of Clans" update coming their way this month. If rumors are to be believed, the update will be released within a week's time. But before it starts rolling out, Supercell is still publishing the series of sneak peeks to the update, and the latest of these involve a new minion, level 12 gold and elixir storage, among other changes.
The level 12 storage will increase the capacity of the structures to a massive 10 million. The buildings will also get fresh makeovers as their padlocks will be replaced with giant locks.
New defensive structures are also going to be made available, according to a previous HNGN report. The sneak peek has identified five new defensive buildings: Cannon, Archer Tower, Wizard Tower and an X-Bow. These new buildings bump the total of defensive structures to an all-time high, leading to the potential of an immensely formidable base.
Finally, there is the new level 7 winged minion, which is designed to help players withstand the onslaught of Archer Towers, according to Touch Arcade. Its role is primarily seen as a counterbalance to the series of defensive structures that will be introduced in the December update. Watch the little purple creature in action in the video below.
Other notable elements in the latest sneak peek include the Town Hall level 9 freeze spell, boost reduction, a new donation menu and the increase in the Laboratory's level cap to level 9. The update will also include new sound notifications, iDigital Times reported.
