McLaren MP4-X: Car That Looks Like Fighter Jet Could Be Future Of F1 Sport (VIDEO)

McLaren has unveiled a concept car called McLaren MP4-X that expresses how the company envisions the future of Formula One car. Indeed, looking at the vehicle from different angles, one is immediately sold to the possibility of a F1 future that is both bold and exciting.

"With the futuristic McLaren MP4-X concept racecar, we wanted to peer into the future and imagine the art of the possible," John Allert, Group Brand Director at McLaren Technology Group, said in an official statement.

The appearance of the MP4-X recalls a particularly aggressive-looking fighter jet, or some car straight out of a science fiction film. It is both visually striking and expressive of the competitive nature of the F1 sport, which McLaren labels as "gladiatorial."
